This product is not a hazardous material. Avoid diluting with water of poor quality (such as synthetic CaCO3 with a hardness higher than 100mg/L) to avoid affecting the finishing quality. Store in a cool and dry place, avoiding sunlight, rain, and freezing.
This process utilizes the by-products C8~C10 mixed fatty acids separated from the soap making process to undergo an oxyethylene reaction after esterification with glycerol, achieving full utilization of resources.
(1) Preparation of C8~C10 Glycerol Mono and Bis Esters HSZ
Add C8-C10 acid and glycerol (molar ratio 2:1) to an esterification reactor under stirring, then add 1.05mmol of heteropoly acid as a catalyst, heat to 165-170 ℃, continuously separate by-product water during the reaction, and neutralize after the reaction to obtain intermediate product HSZ.
(2) Synthesis of Etherified C8~C10 Glycerol Ester HSZE
Add a quantitative amount of HSZ to the synthesis kettle, and then add 0.03mol of potassium hydroxide to seal the reaction system. Exchange the air in the reaction system with nitrogen gas and heat it up to 170 ℃ under stirring. Add ethylene oxide dropwise to obtain etherified C8-C10 glyceride HSZE.
